Taking measures – women size chart
How to find out your true size for sewing patterns
It will be best to ask someone to take your measures. Stand up straight and relaxed and let your hands to the body relaxed. Centimeter should not be placed on the body neither too tight nor too loose.
Chest is measured across the most widely part of the chest. Be sure to set centimeter higher on back, because the rounded part of back is a little higher than most widely part of the chest.
Hips are measured across the widest part of hips.
Compare measures with measures on the table.
No need to measure patterns, because they already contained in them cm for comfort.
